Hailing from Jamaica, Amashika’s journey toward impactful change commenced at Wolmer’s High School for Girls, where she laid the groundwork for her future endeavors. She honed her intellect and skills at the esteemed University of the West Indies, graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations.

Amashika’s professional odyssey has been a tapestry of versatility and excellence, threading through various sectors with finesse. With a passion for project management and marketing, she amassed invaluable experience that would later mold her into a consummate leader. Notably, her firm published a Jamaican-themed coloring book titled “Chat Tu Mi & Colour” in October 2019, aimed at nurturing creativity, alleviating child stress, and preserving Jamaican folklore and language. This has also lead to a lot of partnerships and activities with children – partnership with Reggae Month Secretariat in 2021 and 2022 for children-centric workshops for children and receiving the 207th Points Of Light Award from the United Kingdom.

Beyond her corporate engagements, Amashika emerges as a fervent champion for causes dear to her heart.
